Are Your Hemorrhoids Itchy or Sore? Hemorrhoids Solutions & Remedies

(Last Updated On: August 9, 2020)

Get Rid of Fiber, Get Rid of Hemorrhoids.

Knowing how to get rid of hemorrhoids will help you avoid the pain and other symptoms so typical of hemorrhoid flair-up, and to a larger extent, might help you avoid more serious health problems. It is very possible to have a recurrence of hemorrhoids if you don't make certain lifestyle changes. This means, if you have experienced hemorrhoids before, you can certainly avoid them from happening again.

Pressure in blood veins

If you are constipated, you should not strain or put pressure to move your bowels. By ensuring that the tension is not there on the anal veins, you can avoid hemorrhoids from recurring. Do not hold back and wait for a better time to go, go when the urge hits or you may find yourself developing a serious disease like Crohn's or diverticulitis.

  • Eat A Balanced Diet

The trouble-free method that you can perform to make sure that you do not strain when you have hemorrhoids is to have a well-planned diet. You should eat properly. Avoid unhealthy fast, processed foods that are rich in fiber. The last thing you need is stool bulk.  By letting the feces pass through your digestive systems efficiently, this will aid in avoiding tension as well as relieving the extra strain. Eat foods that are low in fiber, and never take laxatives if you are constipated. Consume no more then 8 cups of water and that includes all the water in your food, coffee fruit smoothies etc.. Excessive water can actually cause constipation. With excessive water comes excessive urination and loss of vital nutrients such as potassium. Potassium deficiency is among the leading case of hard stool.

  • Eat less fiber. This means smaller and easier to pass stools.
  • If you follow others advice and drink more, more, more water, because fiber soaks up to 10 times it weight in water, In order for fiber to work you need water (bulky stools that make you force and push). The bowel is a water recycling center. Typical human bowel movements usually contain a few ounces of water (not quarts). The rest, and we should be talking quarts, is reclaimed by your body. Your body is made of two-thirds water, when your body is starving for water all kinds of problems occur. But the truth of the matter is you would die from excessive water before all that water actually softened your stool.
  • Eat more meat. Meat does not contain fiber. Even lean meat has a lot of fat compared to grains, beans, vegetables and fruit, which are loaded with fiber. We are carnivores, just look at your teeth.
  • According to the FDA,  herbal supplements should not to be considered a hemorrhoid cure, but many sufferers do find relief with herbal hemorrhoid treatments. Herbal ingredients that have been proven to be beneficial with hemorrhoids include Japanese pagoda tree, horse chestnut, and butcher's broom. Other forms of relief include soaking in a shallow bath to soothe the pain and swelling. Medicated pads and some creams available commercially contain witch hazel, which is a natural astringent that can help alleviate pain and reduce swelling. A word of caution, some people are sensitive to astringents and the analgesics contained in hemorrhoid cream, so exercise caution when using these products.
  • Creams and gels contain active ingredients that when applied go directly to the problem area and provide immediate soothing relief, but can not and will not cure the underlying problem.
  • Some say exercise! There are numerous suitable exercises that can aid in your health, but if exercise cured hemorrhoids athletes would not have hemorrhoids, and we know this just is not the case . Exercises that increase abdominal area muscles will allow you to place more tension in the anal area, ie: more pushing strength.
  • Herbal Treatments You can also make sure to pay attention to non-conventional herbal treatments such as supplements and topical solutions or creams that are available. Although many do not prevent the hemorrhoids from happening again, you can use some creams to simply soothe the hemorrhoid itself.

Prevention is better

As the old saying goes, prevention is better than cure. It is very safe and cheap to invest in your health while the condition is not yet there. Cures and treatments are far more expensive than measures that you can take to avoid hemorrhoids and other intestinal conditions such as IBS and Crohn's.
