Signs and Symptoms of Hemorroides

One of the the most obvious symptoms of Hemorroides is a small grape-like bulge protruding from the anus – the common appearance of prolapsed internal Hemorroides. The size, shape and number of hemorrhoids differ, from one patient to another.

Hemorroides can be larger than a normal grape, even a size of a walnut, but commonly Hemorroides are the size of a marble. Most people never realize they have a hemorrhoid until it protrudes.

In some cases, there is only one hemeroid, while some patients can have numerous Hemorroides – commonly only a small group go to the doctor for diagnoses.

Hemorroides can look like compressed grapes, some Hemorroides look like bloated grapes, while other Hemorroides can look like creased grapes, most Hemorroides have a plum-like color.

Hemorroides sometimes protrude from the anus, actually hanging outside (prolapsed internal Hemorroides). sometimes the Hemorroides stay inside the rectum out of observable sight, whereas some Hemorroides form on the skin just outside of the anus – this latter kind of Hemorroides are called external Hemorroides, and they are usually presented as a single bulge in the skin around the rectal opening.

Typical symptoms of Hemorroides is their color:

• Vivid pinkish-red Hemorroides are usually prolapsed internal Hemorroides (hanging outside the anus).

• Bluish or plum-like, or dark reddish Hemorroides are commonly coagulated Hemorroides.

• Brownish Hemorroides are commonly external Hemorroides.

Other typical signs and symptoms of Hemorroides

Hemorroides have been troubling people throughout recorded time, and Hemorroides have played their role well, with their knack of causing irritability and short temper, to loss of focus causing human errors.

Hemorroides can be so stressful to a patient, that even the dreadful Hemorroides operations of olden times, were considered worth the pain by the Hemorroides patient, to try and cease the pain the Hemorroides were causing.

It is interesting to note, that a football championship game was lost by a team because the top player was suffering from a Hemorroides.

Another common sign of Hemorroides is that they usually cover the anus, preventing the rectal opening from being seen, and making it difficult to clean yourself after a bowel movement.

A very irritating symptom of Hemorroides is that they can result in the area becoming very itchy, specifically around the rectal opening, this Hemorroides symptom can also be a symptom of parasitic worms, rather than Hemorroides, thus a medical examination may be needed.

Hemorroides can also result in searing pain around the rectal opening.

Soiled undergarments can be a usual symptom with Hemorroides as well. This Hemorroides symptom creates irritation and pain, similar to a diaper rash.

Hemorroides can also lead to a sensation of partial bowel movement – you may have the feeling that you have not emptied your colon, even though you already have. This Hemorroides symptom is a partially horrible one, since straining to get your feces out, when there isn’t really any there can worsen or lead to Hemorroides in its own right. What feels like an interruption of bowel movement is caused by the digestive system mistakenly identifying a bulging Hemorroides as feces.
